This 3-session, pre-recorded series designed specifically for Board members addresses the most important areas of nonprofit oversight that individuals need to know upon embarking as a volunteer board member. This course covers how board meetings are necessary for good governance, adequate oversight and effective leadership of an organization.  For most organizations, participation in regularly scheduled board meetings is often the single greatest use of a board members’ time. 

This course, An Overview to Strategic Planning, provides learners with a foundational understanding of the strategic planning process. Participants will explore the core components of a strategic plan, including vision, mission, goals, and action steps. The course also highlights key considerations for assessing an organization’s readiness to engage in effective planning.

This course provides learners with an overview of the succession planning process for organization leaders.  Whether planning for the succession of the Executive Director/CEO or the Board Chair, this session offers a practical step-by-step guide of the considerations and planning needed to ensure continuity of leadership during the transition.  Just $25.
