Miami Valley Nonprofit Collaborative Rolls Out New OnDemand Training Platform

(DAYTON, Ohio)—Miami Valley Nonprofit Collaborative (MVNC) announced a NEW service, MVNC OnDemand, during their 2024 program kickoff event last Friday. Our content will now be available for nonprofit staff, board members, and volunteers to consume online, at their own pace.

MVNC has identified a training gap and is filling the need for local nonprofits. Jenny Warner, Executive Director, said “The first MVNC OnDemand program is our Board Workshop Series because nonprofits have told us their biggest needs are resources for board training and new member onboarding.”

“This program is the perfect option to allow new and experienced board members to attend training on their schedule to gain or refresh knowledge on their exact responsibilities and how they can be key contributors to the success of the organizations they lead,” said Nina Vasiliu, MVNC Board Member.

The new MVNC OnDemand course library makes our training and resources even more accessible and affordable for nonprofits with limited time and budgets. We have a growing collection of recorded sessions, complete with presentation slides and downloadable tools and templates. Plus, we offer discounted pricing for groups over 10.

Mary MacDonald, Executive Director, of the Ohio Craft Brewers Association, shared “The online board training videos offered by MVNC were a valuable resource for our association. It enabled our board members to engage with the content at their convenience and learn more about their roles, responsibilities, and expectations within our nonprofit organization. It’s a great tool to onboard new board members who may not have any previous board experience and a good refresher course for others.”
